When it comes to being an entrepreneur, mistakes are part of the game. And while most of us have been raised to AVOID failure… in business, the faster you fail, the faster you learn.
We saw an interesting stat recently about Kobe Bryant. On his way to one of the greatest careers in the history of sports… Kobe missed 14,481 shots. The most EVER in NBA history. He understood that you miss every shot you don’t take… and he never let the fear of missing a shot keep him from throwing up the ball.
That being said… it’s also nice when you can plug in and learn from others who are a little further ahead of you, and learn from THEIR mistakes so you can avoid some of your own. My Mom and I are so grateful to the mentors and coaches who have helped us avoid some of their mistakes, because we made plenty all by ourselves.

Too many people think that they can have a business idea, start posting about it online, and the customers and clients will magically show up. Or, they see other accounts with bigger followings… and rather than learning and creating a marketing plan of their own, they spend their time trying to mimic what others are doing, hoping they’ll get similar results.
The problem with this, is you’re only seeing the surface level. All successful online business owners HAVE a marketing plan in place – a strategy for attracting, capturing & converting their ideal clients and customers into their paid products, programs and services.
This is not something that happens by accident. It takes strategy & purpose. One of the biggest mistakes we see people make is taking their posts from Facebook, putting them on Instagram, and thinking they’ll get similar results. Or taking a viral TikTok video or Instagram Reel, posting it on Facebook, thinking it will grow their audience.

Listen, we’re all about automation. But the purpose of social media is to BE SOCIAL… and if you think you can set up your posts on autopilot then just go on about your day, you’re going to struggle to get results.
We use automation in our posting so that we have MORE TIME to engage with our audience. Take the time to slow down and respond to comments and DMs, and really have real conversations with your audience in order to build your brand and your authority.

When your business is just starting out, it’s built in the trenches. YES you need automation and systems in place.
