When we launched our personal brand, we knew our goal was to attract an audience and convert people into our signature program, Freedom Seeker University.
That program didn’t even exist yet. It was an idea. A dream. We had no clue how to market it, and we had no audience to market it too. But we knew our end goal was to bring students into that program… and every action we took needed to bring us closer to that goal.
The first step to growing a profitable online business is knowing how you are going to make money. Too many people get stuck on picking their niche, and developing their content without a clear plan on how to monetize it. They get busy creating blog posts, recording videos, and posting on social media… but in the end they’re just paddling around in circles because those activities aren’t leading anywhere.
So before you go any further, it’s time to decide: What is your end goal??
Are you leading people to purchase a course or program from you? Are you a network marketer looking to grow your team or sell a specific product? Are you a coach looking to sign more clients into a one on one or group coaching program?
Pick ONE focus to begin with, and make the commitment to go ALL IN on that focus. What is your endgame? Where are you leading people to?
Six Figures on Social Media | Funnel People to Your Offer
We launched our business in March of 2017 with no audience, no influence and no product or program to sell.
Too many people fall into the trap of believing you have to grow an audience before you make money in your business. Instead, we want to challenge you to embrace the belief that you can grow your audience WHILE you make money… and use the feedback you get along the way to tweak and perfect your marketing.
To do this, you need a funnel that will attract, capture and convert your ideal clients and customers into your program. Every activity you take on social media needs to be focused on leading people to that funnel.
We created a 60 minute webinar which we used to sell our Freedom Seeker University program. We didn’t do some big, elaborate launch: instead, we did that webinar LIVE to a small audience every single week for 16 weeks in a row. This allowed us to tweak and adjust the funnel until it was converting the way we wanted it to.
After 16 weeks of doing it live, we took the recording of that webinar and continued to drive traffic to it. People were still registering and attending that webinar every week, but we were no longer having to do it live.
That funnel allowed us to hit multiple six figures in just 10 months and later led to a seven figure business.
Six Figures on Social Media | Focus on Your Funnel
We grew our business to multiple six figures with nothing but one single social media platform. We didn’t blog. We didn’t have a youtube channel. We didn’t have a podcast. And for the first 6 months we didn’t even have a website.
We had ONE page where people could go and register for the upcoming webinar, and we focused all of our efforts on driving people to sign up.
If you want to grow to six figures and beyond, you need to adopt a focused mindset and stop trying to do all the things. Today we have a blog, youtube channel, and a presence on all the major social media platforms… but if we had tried to START with all of those things, we would have been overwhelmed and buried in busy work that stopped us from making money.
So pick your platform. Go all in and focus on using that platform to drive traffic to your funnel. Start with organic growth, then once you have your funnel dialed in and profitable, you can pour some gasoline on the fire and start using paid ads on that same platform to drive more traffic.
Resist the urge to do all the things and jump from one shiny object to the next. Instead, commit to being focused on the end game!

Alright, let’s bring it all together and show you the step by step. But first… we’re curious: what’s your end game? Are you a course creator, a coach, a network marketer trying to grow your team, are you selling a product… or is your end game something else? Let us know in the comments below!
What we’ve shared in this video is simply ONE way to attract, capture and convert an audience and start making profit in your business. While webinars work great for our business model, they may not be the best for yours, and they aren’t the only strategy we’ve used in growing our business over the last 4 years.
Ultimately, what will take you from just getting started to hitting your first six figures is developing the mindset of “Done is better than perfect”
We drove traffic to a webinar that didn’t even exist yet… where we sold a product we’d not even created.
That first week, while people were registering for our upcoming training, we scrambled to create our webinar slides and get the first module of the course ready to go.
Our conversion rates were terrible, but we still made $1,000.
Our focus each week was to continue getting registrations for the webinar, and finish the course one module at a time… releasing a new module each week. By the time we’d finished all 6 modules we’d already made over $6,000.
So here’s the steps we want you to focus on:
- Know your end game — ultimately, where do you want your audience to end up? Are you looking to bring in coaching clients, create course sales, grow your network marketing team, or sell a product? What’s your ultimate goal?
- Decide how you will get people there — in order to capture and convert people into your business, you need a funnel.
This can be as simple as creating curiosity on social media, connecting with those who like & comment, and adding those who are interested into a Facebook group where you then follow up and close them as a buyer or teammate.
If you’re a coach or a course creator it can be a webinar, or a free download that leads to your micro offer or video sales letter, or even an invitation to book a free strategy call where you give them value then close them into a coaching package.
Yes, overtime you can make it fancy, make it pretty, and make it automated so you don’t have to do so much of the legwork… but the key in the beginning is to simply START. - Focus on getting your funnel in front of as many eyeballs as possible! Choose a platform… whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, and go all in! Your goal is to drive as many people to that offer as possible, while building your audience at the same time.
If you want to grow to six figures or beyond, you need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. You need to start before you feel ready. You need to get your offer out into the world before you feel like it’s perfect.
It might feel messy, but ultimately it will feel amazing… you will feel confident that the efforts you’re putting in are paying off, because you are focused on your end game and not allowing busy work and unimportant tasks to derail or overwhelm you.
